about us

The Queer Coople

The Queer Coople is a space created to support people in the LGBTQ+ community and for us to share our experiences as a queer couple. After numerous searches online for experiences with HRT, transgender support, and general questions about LGBTQ+ topics, we found a gap. There seem to be very few written experiences told by queer couples, unless you go through social media.

We believe queer experiences matter and have been dedicating ourselves towards creating educational posts mixed with a splash of personal experience, blog style! Wherever you’re at on your journey of self exploration, we hope our content supports you and provides helpful resources for friends, family, and/or significant others. Whether it’s HRT, trying new pronouns, or discovering that you’re bisexual, we’ve chosen to write posts that discuss how you can begin to navigate your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

Thank you and welcome!

Meet the coople

Khali Cooper

Hey I'm Khali (she/they). I am a queer writer who is passionate about sharing experiences and capturing moments through photography. In addition to my love of blogging, I enjoy hiking, painting, and baking gluten free goodies. Ever since my Tumblr days I have always dreamt of starting my own blog to share content that I feel passionate about. Thank you for being interested in The Queer Coople!

Elis Cooper

Hi I'm Elis (they/them). I love myself, my transness, my queerness, and my joyful expressions of being non-binary. I'm 26 and outside of my job, I spend time being a dogmom, working on myself in EMDR therapy, sharing space with others, and going on coffee dates with the love of my life. I’m gently reconnecting with my body in my personal time, 420 friendly, and love seeking joy outside in nature. I have my MSW and I advocate for accessibility, transparency, accountability, and intersectionality. Thank you for taking time to read what we have to say!
